Small Loan Empowering Poor Women Headed Households

Guntoor, February 21, 2013: To provide financial assistance to poor women for starting augmenting income generation activities, Rehab India Foundation distributed interest free loan to three more women under (Padosi) SHG Programme Phase 2^nd at Anandpeta, Guntoor District, Andhra Pradesh.

District Minority Committee Member, Abdul Raheem distributed loan worth 7500/- to three poor and deprived women for initiating micro-business. Mumtaz received loan for starting tailoring shop, while Mehrun and Shaik Shakira got loan for starting petty shop.

Recap Phase-II (PADOSI) SHG:

Rehab India Foundation has distributed loan to 15 underprivileged women under SHG Programme phase-I. Next, Phase-II was unlocked with additional identified fifteen poor women. During Phase-II, Rehab has disbursed loan to twelve women. On the other hand, Rehab is planning to unbolt Phase-III of (Padosi) SHG. Same, 15 beneficiaries will be selected for distributing interest free loan.
