Job Description:
We are hiring Accountant at our New Delhi office.
Responsibilities:
1. Independently maintain and manage the Books of Accounts in Tally ERP 9.
2. Independently manage accounting requirements of our Employees, Banks, CA, etc.
3. Independently handle Accounts Payable & Receivable.
4. Handling day to day accounts, Bank reconciliation, ledger account scrutiny.

5. Closing the books for monthly and annual accounts.
6. Handling all tax related matters.

Skills:
Mandatory:
Very good knowledge on Indian Accounting, Payroll and Taxation.
Experience with Tally.

Desired Candidate Profile:
1. Graduation (B.Com / BBA , etc.) with 1-2 years of professional experience in managing Accounts in Tally.
2. Should be flexible in timings and also to Travel.

Trust Yourself, Perform Best


Kurnool, February 23, 2013: Rehab India Foundation unlocked ‘Fear Free Exam Programme’ for the school going children at Nizamudheen Colony, Kurnool District, Andhra Pradesh on 23rd February 2013.

Rehab started Fear Free Exam Programme motivating school going children for performing best at examinations.  On the occasion, it was suggested to the students to develop a strategy to get success in exams, and need to use time effectively. Also, they were encouraged to maintain and develop motivation, and manage stress throughout the year especially in exams.

Altogether, fifty students attended the programme. They shared the challenges which they face before and during examinations. In a nutshell, Team Rehab received good response from the students.

CBGA Organizes Workshop on‘Budget Analysis and Advocacy from Lens of Minorities’


New Delhi, February 22, 2013: Centre for Budget and Governance Accountability (CBGA) organized workshop on ‘Budget Analysis and Advocacy from Lens of Minorities’ at Indian Islamic Cultural Centre, Lodhi Road New Delhi dated on 22-23 Feb 2013.

It was organized with the basic objectives to comprehend the basics of government budgets, knowing the process of budgeting by the Union and State Government and access the budget from the perspective of disadvantage sections especially from gender lens.

February 22, 2013:
Session started with welcome note and the brief introduction of all the participants. Aaris Muhammad, Director Centre for Social Justice discussed planned strategies for development of disadvantaged sections of population.  Including, focusing on ‘Gender Responsive Budgeting’ Shubhrat Das emphasized the role of planning commission for the development of disadvantaged and neglected groups.

During the session, all the participants were divided into three groups and were involved in household budgeting. Following that Jawed Alam Khan, Senior Research Officer CBGA forwarded the session giving presentation on ‘understanding policies and budgets for minorities’.

Member CBGA team, Muhammad Aaris with all the participants went to Ministry of Minority Affairs to present a memo to Union Minister, Ministry of Minority Affair, Government of India.  On behalf of CBGA, and other stakeholders of the programme, Musarrat Warsi, HR/PR Manager Rehab India Foundation presented memorandum of the workshop to Dr. Rahman Khan, Honorable Union Minister, Ministry of Minority Affair, Government of India.

February 23, 2013:
Programme was unveiled with the recap of day one. Jawed Alam Khan, Programme Manager explained the implementation and impact for minority related programs.

Post lunch, Priyadarshni, Programme Manager CBGA started ‘group work on budget analysis’. Participants were divided into four groups and each group has to analyze the case study based on budgeting.  In addition, Aaris Muhammad gave presentation on Self Help Group. 

At the end of the session, all the participants shared their experiences and appreciated the efforts of CBGA conducting the workshop.

Small Loan Empowering Poor Women Headed Households


Guntoor, February 21, 2013: To provide financial assistance to poor women for starting augmenting income generation activities, Rehab India Foundation distributed interest free loan to three more women under (Padosi) SHG Programme Phase 2nd at Anandpeta, Guntoor District, Andhra Pradesh.

District Minority Committee Member, Abdul Raheem distributed loan worth 7500/- to three poor and deprived women for initiating micro-business. Mumtaz received loan for starting tailoring shop, while Mehrun and Shaik Shakira got loan for starting petty shop.

Recap Phase-II (PADOSI) SHG:

Rehab India Foundation has distributed loan to 15 underprivileged women under SHG Programme phase-I. Next, Phase-II was unlocked with additional identified fifteen poor women. During Phase-II, Rehab has disbursed loan to twelve women. On the other hand, Rehab is planning to unbolt Phase-III of (Padosi) SHG. Same, 15 beneficiaries will be selected for distributing interest free loan.

Exams! Conceive it, believe it, and achieve it


Kurnool, February 18, 2013: Developing confidence and concentration of students, Rehab India Foundation organized ‘Fear Free Exam Programme’ at ALFA English Medium High School located at Nizamudheen Colony and at government School in Holagunda Village, Kurnool District, Andhra Pradesh.
The motive of the programme is to give easy solutions to the students feeling totally inspired and energised before and during exams.  During the programme, students shared their weakness; fear, headache, anxiety etc. which they feel before and during exams. For stress and time management, teacher Haleem shared few tips to the students like what to eat and exercise during the exams. They were taught how to manage their time for preparing all subjects.
Adding more tips, he said that make every thought serve you and move you forward, remind yourself that this won’t go forever, and add some small actions to achieve the goal.
Along with member Rehab, teacher Haleem and students participated in the programme. All over it was an effect act motivating and encouraging the students to perform their best.

General Fear, Nervous, Tension and Shivers... Are You Not Prepared For Exams Properly?



 Exam Guidance Programme:
Rehab India Foundation unlocked ‘Exam Guidance Programme’ at Sangod and Baran Dictricts Rajasthan and Mullah Colony Delhi on 10th February 2013.

Training of trainers:
On 10th Feb 2013, Rehab initiated a comprehensive training programme that integrates exceptional academic preparation and practical teaching experience. Team Rehab provided training to the teachers, especially government teachers. It was taught that how teachers can make sessions more interactive and students friendly. This programme was conducted at Kota District, Rajasthan. 

Exam Motivation Programme:
Rehab India Foundation has begun a series of programmes to motivate students to prepare them for examinations.  During the programmes, it was told that students need to develop a strategy to get success in exams, and need to use time effectively. Also, students need to maintain and develop motivation, and manage stress throughout the year especially in exams. 

On 11th February, programme was organized at JLN Bed College, Sangod District, Rajasthan. 135 students attended the programme. Safarullah Khan, Asstt. Programme Manager said that the youth should look for new careers and courses and should consider taking up challenges in life. Next, exam motivation programme was conducted at Mangloor Village, Baran District, Rajasthan. Here 150 students attended the programme. Students showed their interest for acquiring higher education. Last, programme was conducted at Mullah Colony, New Delhi on 17th February 2013 and 30 students attended the programme.

REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION


26TH Jan 2013: Rehab India Foundation celebrated Republic Day of India to commemorate the date and the moment when the Constitution of India came into effect on 26th January 2013 at Head Quarter and its regional offices.



The Day was celebrated with much enthusiasm at Jasola Vihar, New Delhi, Gourhar Village, Uttar Pradesh, Holagunda, Andhra Pradesh, Nizamudheen Colony, Andhra Pradesh, Nandamuri Nagar, Andhra Pradesh, Vallinokkam, Tamil Nadu, and Solva Village, West Bengal.  The programme was started with the solemn reminder of the sacrifice of the martyrs who died for the country in the freedom movement of India.

To mark the importance of this day, Parade was held by Rehab team members, volunteers, and students of Rehab Tuition Centre. Children of Gourhar, Jasola Vihar, Nizamudheen Colony, Nandamuri Nagar, Holagunda, Vallinokkam and Solva were actively involved.

Children of Gourhar performed different cultural programmes. To motivate the children, Village Head distributed awards for ‘Best Student’, ‘Best Sports’, and ‘Best Individual’ for their performance.

On the occasion, Flag hosting was done by Niyas Ahmad, Tehsildar of Holagunda Village, A.P. During the programme, Rajashekar Goudu, Village Revenue Officer,
lukman Supply Officer, vakeel ismail, Ex Ward Member, 60 students and 30 Community People were participated. Prizes were distributed to the children for the above selected categories with the same motto.


At Nizamudheen Colony, Republic Day was celebrated at Community Centre of Rehab India Foundation. In this programme, 120 students, 60 community people were actively involved.

As far as West Belgal is concerned, Republic Day was celebrated at Solva Village of the State. Street Plays and different cultural programmes were organized at the Rehab Community Centre.
